Meet your hosts, the Jeffery family.

We believe in collecting memories, not things—and aim to create a space where you & your loved ones will want to return for years to come.

why we love door county

Ready to unplug from the rush?

We can help.

There’s no place on the planet I love more than Door County. I’m Caitlyn, wife to Jeremy and mama to two girls, Liliana and Addison. My extended family has been vacationing in Door County for more than 100 years, and I grew up making some of my all-time most-cherished memories here.

It’s an absolute dream to now get to share this place with others... To help you to plan your vacations here, slow down for a little while, and experience time together that will be looked back on warmly for years to come. Door County is something special—it’s driving distance from Chicago and several Midwestern metropolises, but it’s remote enough to feel like an escape from the regular fast pace of life. You can cozy up by a fire in one of our cabins, spend your days on the water, or explore the specialty shops, unbelievable restaurants, outdoor activities, and delightful wineries Door County has to offer. There’s truly something for everyone in Door County.

The experience curator

Caitlyn

It all started with an RV trip to Yellowstone with our best friends. One day, we parked the RV at a river and spent the entire day there. Sunup to sundown, we explored the river, fished, ate when we got hungry, and napped when we got tired. There was no wifi or screens, no work or laundry to distract us—just the simplest of days. This feeling is what I want for our guests at our cabins. Creating time to just be together in a beautiful space, with as few distractions as possible. I love the idea of creating a carefree, no-hassle, high-end experience for our guests, so they're free to simply show up and make memories with their families.

Caitlyn’s favorite things to do in Door County:

Sail Door County, Stones Throw Winery, Running the Door County Half, and Wickman House

The operations & business guy

Jeremy

An engineer by day, Jeremy is the first person you’ll hear from when booking with us. His number 1 goal is that you have everything you need for an enjoyable and unforgettable stay. He’s the detail-oriented one: project manager, renovator, and coordinator… He loves all the behind-the-scenes particulars and runs the day-to-day of Door County Cabin Collective. Basically? Jeremy’s your go-to guy for questions and touching base about your stay. When he’s not working on the cabins, you can find him riding the trails on his bike, watching football, or laughing hysterically at a new comedy special.

Jeremy’s favorite things to do in Door County:

Door County Brewing Co. and lobster boils at Harbor Fish Market & Grill

The artist & bookworm

Liliana

Our sweet visionary with an artist’s eye and her nose constantly in a book, Liliana’s claim to Door County fame was designing her own Clark Lake clothing and apparel line at age 10 and starting an online shop to support local Door County businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can check out her shop right here! Whenever she’s not dreaming and drawing up new designs, she’s shooting goals with her best gal pals on the soccer team.

Liliana’s favorite things to do in Door County:

Painting graffiti on Anderson Dock, making jewelry at Hands on Art Studio, feeding the chickadees at Peninsula State Park, and pancakes at Julie’s Cafe

The animal lover & math wiz

Addison

With a heart for caring for animals of all kinds and a knack for schooling her mom on math homework (true story), Addison is the youngest but in no part the smallest in presence in our family. She’s also a knockout on the soccer field like her big sister, and proudly holds the title of the youngest waterskier in the family, catching her first waves by age 5 (and schooling her mama yet again, who was the second-youngest waterskier in the extended fam at age 6!).

Addison’s favorite things to do in Door County:

Visiting the baby animals at The Farm, visiting the goats on roof and pancakes at Al Johnsons, and horseback riding at Kurtz Coral

The mascots & lovable entertainment

Clark & Eddie

We’re a family of dog lovers, through and through, so it was a no-brainer for us to welcome our guests’ furry friends to join in on their vacations at the Door County Cabin Collective. Our own pups Clark, a husky, and Eddie, a golden retriever, are just a few months apart in age, completely adorable and goofy, and the total joy of our family.

Clark and Eddie’s favorite things to do in Door County:

Splashing in the lake, fetching sticks, and taking long naps by the fireplace
