AROUND THE CABIN

Swimming | Fishing | Boating | Biking | Hiking

There is so much to do on and around the property, you may never leave during your entire stay!

Cave Point

Below are just a handful of our other favorite things to do around Door County!

THINGS TO DO

The Farm // Every year we get a season pass because we love this place so much! I’ve been going here since I was a kid. From feeding piglets, cuddling kittens and sheep, feeding baby goats, hold a chick and visit the Peacocks — your kids will want to stay here for hours!

Hands On Art Studio // This is a great option if you happen to have bad weather (and even if you don’t!) They have multiple outbuildings with different art projects to choose from like spin art (my kids favorite!), jewelry making, canvas painting, mosaics, ceramics and more! Make sure to buy a bag of corn and feed the horses on the property!

FOOD + DRINK

Chives // the BEST mule I’ve ever had (can you tell we judge a place by their craft cocktails?) with a syrup that they make from scratch (and won’t release the recipe).

Wild Tomato // This place can get busy (because it’s SO good!). Probably my favorite pizza ever. Wood fired and some really creative specialty pizzas. They also do carry out!

CHOP //

PC Junction // If you have kids, this is a must! The bar has a train that delivers your food and entertains the kids! Grab an ice cream cone when you’re done with dinner and head out back to the 4 person bikes, feeding pigs, giant chess set and more!

Wickman House // It’s a little bit of a drive (a beautiful one!), but they have the best craft cocktails you will ever have. It’s worth it just for that, but the food is also spectacular.

Stonesthrow Winery // My favorite winery of all time (and the only one worth going to in the area in my opinion!). They often have live music in the summer and offer wine tastings! My favs:

Door County Brewery // Worth a stop! Fun, lots of board game and of course, good beer.

Barringers // Truffle parmesan fries, Asian friend Brussel sprouts, and the lobster mac n’ cheese are some of our favorites here! They have an outdoor fireplace and a really cool indoor/outdoor bar.

Parador // Great tapas for sharing and an amazing Cherry Door County Mule! Try the sangria too!

Al Johnson’s // the infamous Swedish breakfast place (unbelievable pancakes) with goats on the roof!

Fish Boil // well, we’ve never done this – but Door County is famous for it so it made the list!
