We’re almost six months into this cabin renovation and things FINALLY feel like they are coming together! I wanted to make sure we documented the starting point to look back on in years to come because we have even bigger plans for this place!
We bought the cabin “as is” which meant the place was jam-packed with decades of someone else’s memories from liquor in the cabinet to family photos to shoes in the closet! Step one was clearing everything out, giving the place a heavy duty scrub and to start with a clean slate. We’re keeping many of the antiques like the record player, some wooden ducks and aerial photos taken of the property many years ago among other things.
