8 Must-Visit Outdoor Patios in Door County

Door County

I don’t know about you, but there’s simply nothing better than beautiful weather, a unique craft cocktail, my best friends or family, and a patio to sit on for hours. That’s the ingredients for a perfect afternoon for me, and these are the places in Door County to do it (in my opinion). I just returned from a girl’s trip to Door County with my best friends in June and then a few weeks later, spent a week there with my extended family and so have recently spent a lot of time testing out all the best places to waste an afternoon on a patio in Door County and have come up with a list of the must-visit outdoor patios in Door County. You ready?

8 must-visit outdoor patios in Door County

Top outdoor patios in Door County:

In no specific order, here are my favorite outdoor patios in Door County to check out for your next visit!

1 – Hatch Distilling.

The motto on their website that I love is “we are distillers, beekeepers, farmers, & foragers pushing the boundaries of what “craft” is”. Try a flight of their spirits or order a craft cocktail and get ready to waste the afternoon away. Really creative options – I loved the Watermelon Basil and Jeremy got the Hibisky Old Fashioned. We love stopping here on the way to dinner!

2 – Roots.

A new favorite spot that we’ll be going back to over and over again. The patio is the perfect place to relax and try some local beers (we recommend Sway crafted by a Door County brewer!) and you cannot leave without trying the lemon caesar salad, truffle chips or chocolate chip cookie dough balls.

3 – Mezzanine.

This rooftop bar in Door County has all the right things: twinkly lights, water views and will even supply blankets if you get chilly. Also a great dinner spot if you want to stay awhile!

4 – Pearl Wine Cottage.

The perfect place for a pre-dinner drink if you’re heading to the famous Trixies for dinner. Our favorite: the Rose flight and chatting with the lovely local staff!

5 – Barringers.

This makes the list because they serve up a mean “Midwest Mule” and have an indoor/outdoor bar and fireplace. Also makes our fav dinner spots list if you want to head instead after a pre-dinner drink!

6 – Stabbur Beer Garden.

For when the afternoon turns into evening and you’re looking for a live music spot – this is it! We spent my 40th birthday here dancing the nigth away in the rain and just headed there again after dinner over the week of the 4th. Both times the music is guaranteed to get you out of your seat and on the dance floor and is a great energy and crowd. Must visit in my opinion!

7 – Door County Brewing.

Board games, food trucks, live music and local brews. Need we say more? Located in Bailey’s Harbor, you’ll want to stop by Chives for dinner after this patio!

8 – Sway Brewing + Blending.

Tucked away on. aside street in Baileys Harbor, your friends will thank you for finding this hidden gem. Local brewer and tacos by Taqueria la Brisita next door. Yum.

Tell us, which are your favorite outdoor patios in Door County? Did we miss any?
